Re: imagepress c1+ , White line and partial faded color
Grid Plate in these imagePress series can cause that issue
I use to keep at least two spare plates at all Press customers,
Tip, u can take that plate to bathroom and wash with soap, be careful not to bend, lay between paper towels to dry, helps in emergency hit & runs.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -
Re: imagepress c1+ , White line and partial faded color
Hi guys, I have almost exactly the same problem.
On my machine the white line is at the rear of the machine and nothing we've done so far has rectified it so far and there is also a fading at the front of the machine. It's across all colors as you'll see on the attached pdf's. Mainly seems to only occur on the halftones which has always been a problem from day one with this machine. Because on the PG10 it's all fine.
We have so far replaced the ITB, Drum, Drum cleaning blade, Primary corona assembly as well as the grid plate, corona wires on the pre-transfer assembly and 2ND transfer assembly. Could it be an electronic fault at all?
This has been ongoing struggle since the machine was deployed a few years ago!
Also, something not as urgent but it keeps coming up with E005-0000 which I know is Error in absence of the fixing web: after the fixing web level sensor has detected the absence of the web, the count exceeded 3000. I can reset the error and it carries on printing but it's a constant issue. I've checked the web physically and there is plenty left.Comment

Common Denominator is
what effects all colors/in same area>in same direction/of same thickness/ & does not vary( never in random areas) .
1-Optics
2-Corona Unit ( had similar issues with GRID PATE ) oil mark from finger-
3-(Look for Toner built up on the mag rollers of all four colors in the same place)
If present & u can clean the marks off, but as you rotate the rotary manually, see if the marks return.
Check the shutter to the salt sensor and the patch reading sensor /
Make sure the arm on the ATR Shutter that sits above the turret has not come out of the socket > rubbing against all developers.
white line is in same location on all test prints
u don't see it on pg10 because of color saturation
