Canon iradv c7260 magenta drum drive

Hello all.
I have a 7260 that the drive gear on the magenta drum keeps breaking on.
They last around 50 to 70% of the yeald.
Both the cyan and yellow drums in the same machine are way over 200% with no quality probs and are still the original units.
Could the magenta dev unit be causing the drum gears to break?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I do not know why, but those drums just die randomly.
magenta most times but other colours too.

I just had a magenta drum break the other day. It was at 70%. Like the last post I don't know why either. Maybe they use that color more. Symtom is usually no color on test page 10 of the drum that is broken.

Thanks for heads-up.

Do you guys find these drums worse than the previous gen? I have seen the GPR 32/33 drums getting 200-400% on the LF meter before they are totally shot.

LF is basically the same , if it does not break.
