IRC 4080 ADF JAM

We have 2 copiers doing the same thing when you press copy button the adf flashes jam and nothing happens jam code is 0094 SR3 sensor checked and cleaned didn't do anything I then tried another adf from our rental fleet and same problem I replaced the reader pcb no help still the same. no error codes. Any thoughts thanks.

the other adf also have the same problem
you should replace the sensor and clean the prism oppositing the sensor or you should to change the pcb

Thanks wassem. The adf used for testing dose work and when bad adf was installed on rental copier it worked.

wassem I found out that one of the copiers was reset. { initialize all data settings } would that turn a turn off or change an ADF option setting. Thanks

U have a DADF_ M1 ?

Under FEEDER > FUNCTION, highlight SENS-INT and press "OK". When that completes exit service mode. Then perform shut down.

- Turn the machine back on and enter service mode and do the following:

Under COPIER > FUNCTION > CCD, highlight CCD-WLVL1 and press "OK". When complete perform CCD-WLVL2 with several sheets of paper in the Document Feeder. When that completes, exit service mode, then perform shut down.

- Turn the machine on and test the feeder; both single and double sided.

I had this same problem with my IRC4580 and it was vexing me for days. But following your instructions worked like a champ.
