[Misc] Canon IR C2620 printing black and white only from all 3 pc's no color

Hi guys,

Hope you can help, i just brought this Canon IR C2620. If you use the machine as a stand alone photocopier it prints color no problem but when i print from all pc's it will only print in Black & White. I have 2 x pc's with windows 8.1 and 1 x with windows 7 using 2 different drivers. I have only just brought this so i have no idea if someone has changed any settings on it.

any help would be great.

How to Access a Canon IR Remote UI


Canon's imageRUNNER series of copiers features built-in software that enables you to access many of the functions of these machines through a Web browser on your computer. If your business uses an imageRUNNER for its copying, printing and faxing workflow, you can use the Remote UI to manage its settings and the jobs your employees send to it for output. The Remote UI shows you status information including how much paper's left in the machine, whether it needs toner and which color it needs. Before you can access the Remote UI, however, you'll need to turn it on.

Press the Additional Functions button on the machine's control panel and select "System Settings." In the System Settings screen, press the "Network Settings" button and make a note of the imageRUNNER's IP address. This address consists of four sets of digits separated by periods. If you're unable to access this information on your machine, ask your IT administrator to provide it.

Return to the Additional Functions screen and select "System Settings." Turn on "Remote UI" and "Device Information Settings." Press the "Done" button as many times as necessary to bring up Basic Features.

Turn off the imageRUNNER for 10 seconds. When you turn the machine back on, the Remote UI becomes available.

Launch your Web browser. Type "http://[IP address]" without quotes, replacing [IP address] with the actual address of the machine. Press "Enter" to load the Remote UI into your browser window.


Warning

• Unless you set your Web browser preferences to accept all cookies and use JavaScript, you won't be able to alter your imageRUNNER's settings in the Remote UI.

Thanks for the reply, I fixed my problem. I used windows to install the driver instead of using the setup file.
