Have had this numerous times but unsure of changing the the scanner unit or pcb will fix. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

E302-0001 Error Code: Due to mirrors were dislodged [G]

Description
Error comes up on power up, CIS LED's are coming on and all cables are connected.
- E302-0001: Error in paper face shading
Field Remedy
On further inspection of the CIS unit it, was discovered that the mirrors were dislodged during shipping. Problem was resolved by re-installing the mirrors and running calibration.
E302-0001/E202-0001 Errors: Due to scanner drive belt had fallen off the pulley [G]

Description
The E302-0001 is defined as an error in the front shading, and the E202-0001 is defined as a scanner home position error. The scanner lamp lights up, but is stuck in the middle of the glass.
- E302-0001: Error in paper face shading. Error in shading RAM access. The shading value is out of the specified range.
- E202-0001: Scanner HP error. Scanner Unit error when moving to the left side for HP check operation.
Field Remedy
In this case, the scanner drive belt had fallen off the pulley. Re-installing the drive belt corrected both of the error codes. -
