IR 3225 E110-001

Machine was working fine until I cleaned toner build-up from the mag roller surface. After I did this, I got the code. My best guess is that the DV drive gears did not mesh when the DV unit was levered into place. Instead maybe, the tops of the teeth of the two gears were jammed against each other. And when the machine tried to drive the Mag Roller, it couldn't. I know for a fact the Mag Roller is not turning, because it's in the same place as before.
Anyone had this happen to them? What component took the hit? DC Controller? Thanks.

Cant find any tech pubs on E 110 for this series this may be of some help

E110 Code after Developer Unit was Removed.



Problem :
If the Developer Unit Connector is removed with the Main Power Switch on it may blow the DC Controller resulting in a E110 code

Solution :
Always turn off the Main Power Switch when removing any electrical connectors.

3570 / 3045 series

Error :
E100 orE110 is shown on the Display. The error points to a Laser or Laser Shutter issue. After inspecting all Laser related item it was found that the Ground Plate for the Registration Roller was not making contact.

Workaround :
Check that the ground tabs are touching the Metal Registration Roller correctly.

Forgot about that ground clip. It will give wavy lines also. I re-bias them against the roller after putting conductive grease on them..the black stuff
