Canon ADV-iR C5045 - RUI ?

Have one that will not bring up the RUI from the computer. It is turned on, and the copier version says 75.01, but....the computer when I try and access the Address Book or something says 79.01, also when I do a P-Print the RUI is --.--. Do I just need to reload the RUI?

Hi Kuby,

I would recommend you upgrade to the latest firmware including "RUI" and you should be good to go. Since you need to upgrade your "RUI" you may aswell do all the firmware.

If after doing the full firmware upgrade and it still doesn't work try doing an MMI Clear. This will wipe out all your network settings and some others but I have had good success using this for weird problems. Good luck!

The firmware is up to date.

Have you upgraded since the problem started, (your rui firmware may be corrupt), also as mentioned above an mmi clear does help with silly issues, cant say for certain that it will for this issue, but since you mentioned that rui isn't listed on your p-print, its probably worth trying to re-install.

Security settings could be blocking RUI.
But since u don't see RUI in print out, reload.

Remember_RUI must match Language ver.
