i need full network configuration for downloading system software in ir 6000 with crossover cable...........
I have a laptop with windows 7 os ,,system software,,, and sst v4.74Em pre installed............
older usb to parallel cable is not work in wondows 7....
yesterday a ir6000 show e602-003...try 1+9 defragment but it still show e602-003 ...
please discrive me full network configration and keypoint for downloading system software ...

When you look at the sst manuals,the recommended cable for firmware download is a parallel cable.However with the advancement in technology,many laptops do not have the parallel port,you will have to use a USB to parallel cable.As for the net work cable there is
no designed configuration,but you need to designe your own IP address to both the pc and host machine.But i do not think this is
applicable on this model.

كما يعمل هذا البرنامج على تحويل الامتداد كما تريد فهو يدعم كل الامتدادات الخاصه بالصور وايضا تحويل الصوره للجوده كما تحب

ملحوظه هامه:كلما زادت جوده الصوره زادت حجمها الى 5ميجا ويمكن ايضا الى 10 ميجا واكثر

i think you need old version sst like 3.35 and windows xp instead of 7
give your lap the ip 172.16.1.101

Hi,

Tekcat is on the money as per usual, you can config firmware with crossover cable.

1. Boot your device up in FIXIP mode,(hold down 1 & 7 then power up the device) it will boot up with a fixed ip of 172.16.1.100
2. config your laptop to the same range ie; 172.16.1.200
3. connect with service support tool and you should be good to go as long as you have the right firmware.

P.s you might need to replace the hard drive......

I sent poster instructions in a PM /that it's usually pointless to format a HDD that throws an e602 , but worth a try.
