    CANON IR1025 Miss Feeding

Have a machine that when feeding paper starts to pass through the Fuser then stalls. When I pull out the paper part of the image has been fused. There are no pieces of paper caught. I got a code that came up one time when I was looking inside to extract the page - 20N1 Off. This is a machine that I have had little issue with but am letting the client know that it may not be worth the fix - If I could figure that part out.

Does anyone have any idea as to the issue?

Appreciate any feedback - thank you.

Probably a broken plastic actuator in the fuser if its making it part way thru the fuser. Pull the fuser out and look. Fun to get the fuser out on them. The photo interrupt is on the end of the fuser. Make sure it has no toner/dust in it also. Someone probably cleared a jam and broke the flag(actuator)

Thanks for the reply - I had thought at the time of my post it was probably a sensor - but your thinking it is the Fuser Flag. Dumb Question: Is it necessary to change out entire Fuser or id there a chance on the part itself?

worn out fuser lube also causes paper to stall there, take out the fuser, take out the film and relube it (but first clean
the old dry lube residues). Use only a fuser- film- grease not common hi- temp grease it won't work.
