hi guys,

bit of a weird one here, on the Right hand deck or deck 1, i have a machine that shows paper loaded, however the lifting plate is not actually lifted, its still in the bottom of the deck, but shows the deck fully loaded.

I swapped over pick up assys, just to rule anything out with the assy, but still the paper shows loaded even though its at the bottom of the deck. I suspect that the lifting motor is not operating but what i do not understand is that why is the paper level indicator showing full when no paper is loaded?? Wondering if its a dc issue? Any help would be appreciated.

If you manually lift deck_ without paper _will it drop on power up_?

That's what's confusing me, the actual lifting plate in the right hand deck is not lifting at all but the paper select is showing that it's full. I suspect that it's the dc too but was going to take a right hand deck lifting drive but can't find that in the manual. Has a left but no right.
