    Canon iR3300 /2200

    I need your support how I can get my copier start
    printing from computer. Currently, I can connect using serial port but the
    copier receive print job and shows "Receiving Data" but doesn't print.

    Briefly:
    -iR3300(iR2200)
    -Boot-ROM VERSION 10.29C
    -RAM 128MB

      1. Clear Sector 1 found in service mode.
      Enter service mode select COPIER>FUNCTION>SYSTEM>CHK-TYPE>select 1 and press O.K.
      Next select HD-CLEAR and select O.K. The machine should display 50% then O.K! The machine will clear sector 1 which is the image storage area.
      This will only clear the image control data stored on the SRAM. Sometimes there can be files or images that can backup the storage area and cause this problem.

      2. Remove>clean ends>Re-seat the SRAM on the Main Controller. (or try replacing the SRAM (memory).

      3. Reformat and reload system software.

      Try each step and then test the machine before going to the next step to see if that particular step resolves the problem.

          5002: Printer Processing

          Hi
          The Printer(iR3300/2200) is displaying "5002: Printer Processing" whenever I send a job from the pc.

          As I can't reformat as I don't have the system software or any link?

                  Yet yo try second procedure when am back at office tomorrow but tried the first one no change yet.
