    [Misc] Canon w8400/W8400PG service tool

    Hello

    I have 2 of these printers a Canon W8400 and also a W8400PG both have problems

    i have been looking everywhere for the service tools for these printers one has a printhead error the other an ink cartridge problem.

    Any help would really be grateful.

          Hello Teckat

          Thank you so much for this i am hoping it can give me some other information about the canon Ink cartage error i know the error is due to the chip but i paid for 4 new ink cartridges an still have the same error no ink cartridge in there.

          I know the W8400 needs a new printhead just looking for one that is cheap if i can get one. sad that the W8400 has the BC-1300 printhead and the W8400PG had the BC-1350 printhead as i would have just changed them over.

          Canon don't really give out much information and trying to find out about each model is a joke.

              Hello Teckat or anyone that can help

              I was wondering if you can help a little here i have used the L printer service tool and re done the firmware on the W8400 version 1.10 the one with the Ink cartridge problem now the printer boots up fine with no errors which you would think is a good thing.

              But now when i try and print something the Ink is just dumping, there is no air in the pipes and no air in the cartridges and no errors for the printhead.

              Is there a reason for this that can be fixed easy?
