    [Jamming] IRadv 6255

    hi,

Still having issues with the Right hand deck lifting paper. The paper select shows sometimes that the paper is loaded, however the lifting plate in the stock assy has not lifted at all. I have now changed the Sensor assy and lifting motor for the Right hand deck, swapped the paper stock assy, dumped the DC controller and even swapped the DC but still the same that paper is not lifting up to the pick up assy.

Am I missing something? is there a driver pcb or something?? lost and confused!

?_So > sometimes you get a lift.

?_Without paper do u get "add paper" on a lift.

    ?_Deck Harness.

      hi,

ive tried a new right hand paper deck or stock assy for a better word, makes no difference either. when there is no paper at all in the deck, it can say its full, even though the lifting plate is down on the bottom of the deck...ive changed the sensor assy at the back, FM4-0931-000, deck remnant detect assy and the lifting motor for the right hand deck...still the same, dc controller has been changed and settings set back in service mode....still shows paper full even when no paper is present and lifting plate is down

yep, paper deck swapped and exhibits same problem, pick up assy swapped still the same, if i open the deck shows no paper present so i guess the sensor is working, but that has been replaced too. if i close the deck with paper in it, it says no paper, because its not lifted, if i turn the machine off and on, when powered up, shows paper present even though lifting plate is at the bottom of the deck. if i press for a copy, will jam because of the paper not lifted...very strange

            This may help

Affected by static charge, the paper level sensor erroneously detects the existence of paper when no paper exists, and
so feeding operation is executed and that leads to a jam.

tks for that teckat, havent tried the system check for errors, is that just for the DC or every board?? illl check the I/O next time im there, i was pulled off the job to do something else as i was about to strip it down to check the wiring..but hopefully should be back there on Weds...mite have more time to check it all out...its a weird one

is that at the rear of the deck the 2 sensors? ive actually replaced the whole assy, seems to be the main issue is that the lifting plate is not lifting..even though the sensors would say that paper is present even though its not lifted up...weird ...
