Canon IR 2020 Fixing Film

Does anyone knows if this film is available as a separate item?
I havent found anywhere the part nr. for it, and the local dealer says
they'll only sell the unit as a whole. ($$$$).
Any info is appreciated very much.

Fixing FILM assembly part# FM2-3346-000 for 120V

Now.. on another note... I just replaced one of these a few weeks ago and my service manager said the WHOLE FIXING ASSEMBLY (part # FM2-3345-000) wasn't much higher than the film so he had me replace the whole fixing assembly....

From what I understand, you can't get just the film??

The generic films that we've trialled tend to fall over far short of their life.
To the best of my knowledge canon don't make the film itself as a stand alone part..fixing film assembly...sure but the film itself as a genuine part...I don't think so.
KATUN and SELDRUM both make stand alone films that come as part of a kit(i.e.film,grease and instructions) but like I said..we trialled them and some didn't even make it a month.
