    Canon IR3750 Leading Edge Problem

    Gentlemen,

I got this leading edge 1.6 inches away from the edge of the paper on Canon IR3570
I tried to fix it in service mode but did not worked, it just narrowed a little.
I found the clutch(CL2) very dirty, and cleaned it, but also didn't helped.
Can you please help me find my way out of this.

    respectfully,
    daniboi

I agree if you are getting movement like that, replace the registration clutch and should solve the issue.

How many copies on machine? The registration sensor actuator wears down on these and will actuate late. A rusty reg clutch will cause this also. If it is slipping, the paper will be late and cut the top of the image off. Never had to change a reg clutch on one of these

          Thanks everybody,
True, the problem is the registration clutch. I cleaned it the first time
but not thoroughly cleaned. Now I cleaned it real good, spinning smoothly. It's working.
One thing I learned, Clutches don't really break easily, they're just become dirty and needs cleaning
          sometimes. Don't throw that away.
