Where do you find the web fuser function to clear this error?

you either have to clear the web counter or go into service mode and go to function clear err and clear the error and cycle your power depending on your model -
it is a ir c2050 and I don't find the web counter on the counter function, I cleared all the erros but no the web counter, I don't know where it is

Product : imageClass 2050 / 2058 Title : Error Code E005 Cannot Be Cleared Error :
E005 code indicates the web needs to be replaced. After replacing the web and clearing the web counter in service mode the code remains and cannot be cleared.
Workaround :
Check the web length sensor (S24) and reseat all the connectors on the Serial Controller and DC Controller. Also try clearing DC-Con. After performing all the suggested checks, it may be necessary to replace the DC Controller.Comment

I'm not sure exactly what an iRC2050 is as they badge them differently in Australia but clearing the Web counter will still be found in Service mode. So i will assume that you know how to get into Service Mode....select COUNTER and then have a look under the Menus and you will probably find it listed as something like Fix-Web....thats the one you need to clear so highlight it and press the (C) button to reset the counter back to zero. Also if there is a menu under COUNTER that is labelled MISC open it up and make sure the Web counter is at zero as well. Switch the Machine off and then on and you should be right. Let us know how you go.

I believe you have to clear the web counter, and then clear the error counter and before you exit service mode turn the machine off.Comment
