I have a canon ir 6570 were always out E400 what should I do?

1. Reseat the cable going from the ADF CONTROLLER to MEMORY PCB. If E400 is still present it has been found that replacing the ADF Controller or MEMORY PCB may be necessary.

2. replacing the DF Driver/Controller PCB in the DADF-M1 document Feeder.

Make sure printer is off and unplugged before re-seating cable


E400-xxxx ? = there is an ADF communication error

0001 = There is a check sum error.
0002 = There is a reception status error.
0003 = There is a reception interrupt error.

Check the connector for any fault in connection.
- Replace the reader controller PCB.
- Replace the ADF controller PCB.
