    IR 5185

Hey guys and gals, work for a small non branded dealership in Illinois.

We recently took in an IR 5185 on trade with just over a million clicks on it. I'm a former Canon tech so I'm fairly familiar with the machine.

The dealership has no use for the copier and wants to send it to a guy to strip it and junk it for scrap metal.

I'm wondering if the used parts have any value?

    Pull out the Four Lasers
    Remove the DF
    Remove the Reader
    Main Controller
    & other Pcb's
    Sell these online👀
    or

U could sell used on eBay, but u would need to test & have buyer pay freight shipping (u would need to shrink wrap entire Printer as removed from it's Cassett Feed Unit, Remove & toss all Dev units & Drums. sell as is.

If I didn't want to use eBay where would I be able to sell them online? It also has the 2 additional trays to go with it as well, is that unit valuable?
