ir5065 cannot detect the reader/scanner unit

Good day guysI have a ir 5065 machine when you ON the machine the panel you only can see only the printer unit. It seem the machine can't detect the reader/scanner is available. Even in the service mode >copier>option>body>w/scnr is already set to 1.I swap main con and dc con from another working machine but still the same.Any comment that you guys can share with me what's wrong with these machine.

i think you need to change the reader controller PCB

Could be an unsupported hardware is mounted on your machine.
Check and make sure that the Main Controller and the Sub-PCBs are correct for your model.
Also make sure that the Sub_PCBs are well seated on their connectors

Go to service mode, check COPIER > OPTION > BODY > UI-COPY and UI-RSCAN = 1.
Also check UI-BOX =1 if you want to use the MAILBOX.

On Main Controller��

Check FLAT cables that attach to the Reader Controller @ J204 and J205.
They are connected to CCD\
not sure if there is part #'s for them

Hi guys,

Still with my machine problem. After machine laying in a corner for few weeks in the workshop today only have time to push out again to check the problem.

I notice in the service mode under VERSION the RCON version is missing. I try to reload the all the firmware to this machine but still same problem. Really scratching my head with this problem.

Actually we bought this machine as a used machine and after refurbished it this the problem we are facing. Any solution in order to solve it guys ?

Is J301 on the Interface PCB in the Reader unit receiving 13 and 24 volts DC from the Accessory Power Supply.

Check the Memory PCB in the Reader unit and the pair of flat ribbon cables that run from the Reader Controller PCB to the Interface PCB and the Memory PCB.
The part number for ordering and replacing the Memory PCB in the Reader unit is FM3-4436-000.

The part number for ordering and replacing the pair of Flat Ribbon cables that plug into J202 and J203 on the Reader Controller PCB is FL2-5812-000.
