[Error Code] E610-001 ERROR IN IRC2880

Hi all i have a problem with irc2880. the error code is E610-0001. i dont know how to clear this...please guide me to solve this issue....

Hard Disk Encryption Key Error
Failure in the hard disk cryptographic key

0001_no Encryption Board ?
The encryption board is not attached.

Attach the encryption board

To verify that the HDD Encryption Kit (the Encryption Board) is installed and functioning, look at the top left of your device's LCD.
You will see a logo of a 'lock' which indicates that the feature is present and functioning.



The security mark appears when you machine is equipped with the Encryption Board and the board is operating properly.

thanks for your guideness I am not able to see that lock is present becoZ of the error code. please send me pic of the encryption board....

where did this printer come from ???
was printer working before error ??


Open up the back of your Printer to see if an HDD Encryption Kit-B1 has been attached to your HDD

if so > check the connections to HDD / U can't miss it

i dont know where is the machine came from......there is no encryption board is attached...this machine is already working only past three days only this problem exists...i have changed the network card and hard disk from another machine but no use.....

but the lan board is having problem becoz i get 602-0001 error in another machine when i connect that board...(hard disk is good only)

please guide me any other possibilities

Flat cable is working only....checked in another machine....

u will need to go into service mode level 2
in here COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>KEY-CLR

HDD encoding board code key clear
The HDD encoding board (security kit) code key is cleared to allow replacement.
When this item is selected and OK pressed, the code key is cleared. Then, when the main power supply is turned OFF/ ON, the encoding board installation processing activates. If installation processing is carried out, a new code key is
generated.
Caution!
If this operation is carried out, all data on the HDD will be rendered useless.
The main power supply is switched OFF/ ON after this operation in order to format the HDD.

U will need to Format the HDD using C2880 Firmware Format in SST
then re-load C2880 Firmware

Thanks for your guidence....the problem is counter corrupted.... when try to load the firmware through sst, i got the error message that "the connected printer is not registered". the i have programed the counter pcb and the problem is solved......
