    canon twain driver for scanning to macs

    has anyone tried the new twain driver for scanning to macs and anyone know if sharp is coming out with something similar?

    most devices(infact 99% of canon) now have push scan so cant really see a need for a 'pull scan' driver.....

    set up scan to email job done.....

          Finally, a reason for me to stop helping people on this site. Unless etep can give me step by step instructions for push scanning to file to MAC!!! or an apology i am done. if i am wrong i will offer apology

            Create folder on computer called "scans", share folder, give read and write permissions to everyone. On copier: address book create scan to SMB pointing to the "scans" folder you created and include the login credentials for the computer.
            On newer Canons, from the copier you can add a destination to the address book and browse directly to the scan folder making it easier for those less tech savvy to put in proper path to the scan folder. I can't remember the last time I set up twain scanning.
