please explain -- you mean printer resets or restarts

the power switch can't turn off and back on by it self---------------

        Remove > clean> re-seat Memory Dimm ??

Try Performing a Dram Test in Service Mode
The Dram test does not affect any registered one-touch buttons or network settings on the imageRUNNER.

        To preform the Dram Test:
        Enter Service Mode> Test Mode> 1> Dram Test 1-2> 1.
This will take about 5 minutes to complete.
Then repeat the steps and choose Dram Test 2.
Reboot the machine at the end of the test.

u mean the control panel goes off>on
or printer powers down & back up ?

have u checked or monitored your outlet for correct voltage output or voltage drops ?? & proper Ground between Neutral = 0v +/- 0.5v Max
is this outlet a dedicated one ( only for printer )
