I have an irc3480 in the field that periodically gives an E732-0001. It first happened about 7 months ago and we reseated the boards and it cleared up, they had recently moved the copier so I chalked it up to a loose connection. But about 2 months ago it started again, only this time, they can turn it off/on and it will clear itself for several days then codes up again. We are going tomorrow to reseat boards again, check cable connection etc. The problem is since it clears up after on/off, we won't really know if this fixes the problem until error does or does not come back in a few days. Any other time I've seen this code, it wouldn't go away without some action, usually reseating a board. I don't recall getting this code before that would clear itself after powering off/on, should this be pointing me in a specific direction?

Re: irc3480 E732-0001
Before you start replacing boards or cables for the E732 0001 error, first check the intermediate connector on the rear of the molex connector for the Reader to make sure it has not disconnected. The cable is tight and could possibly disconnect. This harness supplies the 13 and 24 Volts from J212 of the Controller Power Supply PCB for the Reader Unit.
