    Canon IR C3200 not scanning

    I installed the scan software from Canon, the computer recognizes the machine, I can print from the computer to the canon, but when you hit the scan button on the machine, it just says "waiting". I checked to see if the scan mode was on in the machine service mode and it shows 1 in the body..w/scan listing. Is there another place to tell the canon it has a scanner? What am I missing? All your help has been appreciated.

    assume 'pull scan' ie twain scanner device-you need third party application software example microsoft office,freekapture

    you cannot push from device unless you have isend/usend(assume america derivative)

      1. install network scangear application.
      2. run scangear application.
      3. u find discover in scangear application - discover scanner with it (or specify IP address to which the printer is connected).
      4. run any other application (eg. photoshop, coreldraw, ms-programmes) and use import/acquire image to start scanning software.
