    Epson WF C869R

We have had this machine sitting in our show room and are not too familiar working on Epson machines. We printed off some test pages and are getting some horizontal lines across the pages and on the alignment pages we have random specs missing on some of the lines. We have cleaned the print head, ran cleaning cycles and did calibration adjustments but cannot figure it out. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I am trying to upload pictures but the attachment tool is giving me hell. I'll post some as soon as I can!

Have any idea how long it has been "sitting in the showroom"? What you describe sounds like clogged printhead nozzles

Haha, definitely long enough for some print heads to dry up. We have done what cleaning we know how to do and run the automatic cleaning cycles in the maintenance menu.

I can email pdf pictures of what my issues are looking like. Let me know!

Hi, you can try dipping the printhead with a cleaning solution by soaking a cloth and placing under it. or if you can, try to remove the printhead from the carriage unit and do soak the with the cleaning solution for a while. when your return to the carriage unit you may do print head allignment manually by tightning and loosening the screws holding it to the carriage unit.

          Hope this may help.

You can run a more agrgesive cleaning cycle in service mode but this will dump A LOT of ink.
