minolta c654 scanning through fiery e100 using smb not working

hi

the customer has a minolta bizhub c654 scanning to pc working fine but since we installed the fiery the scanning has now stopped. with minolta can it scan smb through the fiery?or do you use another method like fiery remote scan and if so what version with this model. i have use remote scan before on canons but never on minolta. the customer would prefer smb as if is easier and quicker if pos.

My recommendation is to install a hub/switch, give the Fiery and the Emperon unique IP addresses and cable to each NIC separately. This will take the Fiery out of the loop for scanning, and give the added benefit of being able to print via the Emperon as a backup if the Fiery goes down. To do this go into the Fiery web tools and ensure "obtain IP for engine is set to no", then go into Emperon and configure the MFPs network settings. Emujo
