My Konica-Minolta magicolor 1600W is throwing a 0094 error during the power on sequence. From searching the forums I figured out it is a problem with the positioning of the 2nd transfer roller. I pulled the toner cartridge and the fuser and took a good look at the 2nd transfer roller. It is currently in the away (from belt) position it looks to me like the clutch operates a cam on the left. A cam follower causes a piece with wedges to move to the right forcing the 2nd transfer roller up against the belt. So, how do I diagnose this problem?
I can't see anything while the printer is running. It isn't obvious to me where the sensor or the solenoid are. I figure they are behind the roller shield but I don't see how to easily get at that part of the machine. Any ideas? Thanks.
