Help! - need procedure to replace RH door suspension cable on C450.

doesnt it just hook onto a big spring under the output tray? Removing from the door side is easy once you unhook the spring.

Or are you talking about feeding a new one thru the machine ?

Had just finished when I got your reply. Thanks

It had come unhooked from the spring under the output tray, but also had worked it's way out of the guides behind the fan assembly. The plastic retainer in the door broke and the cable shot back into the machine.

That is a horrible job.

The wire springs back behined the fan assy and main board not the best of jobs
