[Misc] FS-534 with SD-511 at bizhub C652, message "Replace Saddle Staple Cartridge 1 + 2"

Hello at all,

a bizhub C652 with FS-534 and SD-511 shows in the display the message " Replace Saddle Staple Cartridge 1 + 2".
Both cartridges are not empty!!! Also a mutual exchange is unsuccessful.
But what amazes me, is the fact, that both staple cartridges are to be exchanged.

Amazing shit does happen to these machines. It's otherwise a simple problem with sensors or wiring or a smoked board.

Fiddle with the cartridges firsts. Then go wild.

if the staples were put in the cartridge backwards this will happen. Also there is a sensor actuator that can pop out if the cartridge is treated roughly.

My money is on Mr Spock...the C652 is pretty old, and those little flag sensors are plastic and get pretty brittle. Shine a flashlight down the mouth of the staple cartridge and double check for these. Emujo
