C-9404 code on a Konica Minolta C754

I have a CIS error code C-9404 comes up every time machine is turned on. Not sure if it is a bad CIS or the CIS power board or the dual scan board? Any input would help. thanks

Try the black data cable from the DS board to the CIS first, the CIS module is over 2 thousand dollars.

It, like the smaller 4 series has been revised to a thinner more flexible cable now due to breakage in the field.

Is this a 4 series or an e series? If it's an e series firmware and a new ccd is the latest fix. I've seen the the cis board fail on the smaller machines
