I have been fighting a J3201 when duplexing 2nd side prints but goes into exit tray instead of going into switch back. SD3 is activated and works in I/O mode. Installed 3mm Mylar as directed by Tech Bulletin, still jams. Also updated FW to latest level with no good results. Other have clipped a spring and removed cushions but they don't state which spring or which gate they had manipulated.exit.jpgreves.jpgreves1.jpg

I've got the exact problem right now on a c284e. Installed the mylar, tightened the spring but still acts up. Usually its the first page, clear the jam and it'll run for a bit. Let it sit for a while and first page will jam. I also replaced SD3.
