Bizhub C452 new black developer unit wont reset

Hi all
I have c452 that has a brand new black drum and new developer put in yesterday by one of our workshop techs,problem is the drum reset but the developer wont reset.
Ive checked the contacts between the drum and dev unit,i havent had to much time to test the printer control board yet,will check that tomorow.
Any other suggestion? Machine needs to go out to customer tomorow afternoon.

I've had this before and it was a defective developing unit - try another one.

You cant leave it like that or it will have a TCR error after about 50 pages or so, the machine MUST acknowledge the new dev unit and run its self adjustment, there is no other choice.
