I have an error T73 when i send and receive a fax.
On the technical service manuel of FK 502
CODE N°T73 Category:Transmision Contents of Error:Modem response waiting T.O (60 seconds) .
We changed the PBA fax and the MPFP.(idem)
The Fax has worked during one year,we tested the line with another fax .
That's correct.

ECM correct off

Go into fax in tech rep mode and under the comm, other Tab turn the ECM off.

I have found that any companys that have any kinda of dig phone line have to have this ECM turned to the off pos.

First you should check the line for noticeable backgroind noises.

Disable V8/34 protocols and JBIG compression, lower the max. tx/rx speeds to 14.4 and if this does not help: deactivate ECM

also make sure its not a VOIP line. Konica does not support VOIP lines on the fax kits at all. There are converters that might work... but the only ones that I have seen work are by cisco, and very pricey. also, make sure the firmware level on the fax kit is at 7
