Mapping shared drive on Mac for C224e

    Hi guys

Trying to setup shared drive user box scanning on a C224e with Mac OSX 10 Mavericks.

The box is created & setup correctly, it works on Windows.
On the Mac, it prompts for a username and password when trying to connect to the drive.
None of the known username and password combinations works.

    Anyone come across this?

    Cheers

Have not been able to find a solution for SMB yet on the Mac. Have used FTP instead.

How to scan to a Mac from a bizhub - BOSS Business Systems, Inc.

This is not sharing a folder on the Mac and connecting the machine to it, it's the other way around where the user box on the machine is USB shared. I did this the other day and it was fine. Went to finder then go then connect to server. Put in SMB://(machines ip) can't remember the credentials part maybe I just went yeah whatever and it just connected. Then it gave me the folder that I drag and dropped to the desktop. If putting in no credentials doesn't work then maybe share a user box with a username and password? Never had to do that before though. Silly macs

At the bottom of your linked page, there is a link to an SMB solution based on a KM firmware update, along with an explanation of the problem. Nice.
