B227 clunky noise

Ok time to address this issue. 4 machines out of the box would make a clunking noise coming from the exit.
To busy installing them up to have real time to look for the problem.

One guess is that they have a flat spot on the fuser roller.
Any body figured out where the noise is coming from?

I'm not the one to unbox and do the setup could it be that there is something missing from the setup?

It probably is the fuser, they also forgot to add periodic rotation of the fuser to prevent flat spots.

Special GC0-23 firmware rectifies this, should hopefully be in the next mass production firmware too.

hopefully the fusers sort them selves out with time since they are doing it out of the box, I would of assumed the pressure levers be set in low pressure mode when packed.

There is a stupid plastic clip on the exit roller that needs to be removed to install the internal finisher in there.
That makes a noise as well.
