C6000 Image problem HELP?

    Hi guys,

Im working on a C6000 just now and the image is not coming out as it should be. On the left hand side the image is fine but on the right hand side where it should be sort of fading out to the brown/yellow colour its almost white! the 2x sides dont match?

Its tricky for me to explain - please see picture

    Any help is appreciated!madness.jpg

What do the individual half tones look like?

      service mode test pattern 53.

run each colour at about level 120.

      maybe one is fading out?

Usually when there is a problem with density diff from one edge to the other, it is either the corona(it gets dirty ..maybe your developer is near100% and it keeps throwing toner on it) or you have a problem with your dev unit. Usually when there is a problem with your dev unit(probably bk in your case) it is hard to fix it. You can spend a day and get no results. What it happens is that one of the screws that keeps the blade from dev unit still comes loose. Those screws SHOULD NEVER ME REMOVED since they come perfectly calibrated from factory. But still..sometimes they come loose and you can try to manually redo those by measuring the distance from blade to bias on the right side to perfectly match the left one.
Hope its the corona that gets dirty and you can just clean those .

Best of luck
