    C352 RAM issue...

Hi, is it possible replace an original dimm ram module with a "common" computer RAM memory module?
should work? its too hard to find the original specs of original modules and is unknown for me if can be suitable computer ram to use in copiers... the C352 have 2 kinds of RAM:
    1pc dn4333-s512hcj / pc3200 400mhz sodimm as laptops modules
    3pcs pc133 memory 256-168sdsp-13hf

anyone knows if can support more than 1GB memory system? if can support computer modules..
    thx!

Most likely, you can try it and it will not do any harm (but that is in a logical world where KM operates like everything else).

    DIMM (# 4037 6076 01)
I do not know the specs, but you can still the DIMMs in a laptop to determine the specs by using programs like CPUz and purchase DIMMs with the state stats.

Konica Minolta V865-3000-14 (V865-3000-12) Memory Module, Genuine (M4892)

Looks like it is the same for c650s I have some memory here I can check if you cannot figure it out

thx for your reply,, do you know if the copier can recognize the 512MB modules? i have seen the machine have 256MB modules...
the problem is i dont know which modules replace, on state confirmation i run tests but is not clear the rightone to change, if DDR or DIMM...
i attach images of tests... when i run DETAIL CHECK, when is 90% then reset to zero...

i replaced the 4 memory modules with modules from another c352 printer without failures

1.- now the copy is Ok, now print without distortion lines as shown in this "before" image: dirty.jpg

2.- on memory check -> rough, all result are OK, several times i made the same test and all times are ok after.jpg

3.- BUT!, when i perform the detail check, when counter is approaching to 100%, it reset automatically to 0 often times, then do the test again from zero, the following image was taken after 3rd test and have 1 error.. any ideas to solve it? abb1.jpg

From my personal experience (from memory) I am pretty sure the detailed check auto-repeats as default.

I have no idea if it supports larger capacity memory.

          I think the ram is PC4300, 533Mhz, DDR2

Oh I did t see that. That is definitely no good. Try one dimm at a time to determine which is bad . Or install in a laptop and run memtest86.
