C284 wont print or copy

Hi All
Got a bit of a strange one
Got a C284 trade in machine wont print or copy
no errors or warnings showing
when i try a copy the print button goes orange the original scans fans start up then the print button turns blue and nothing
same when i try to print off the meter page or a config page fans start up button turns blue and nothing no page out
cleared machine data,formatted hdd ,checked and updated firmware
i kinda think im missing something not sure what tho perhaps a setting
any help will be much appreciated

Just replaced memory then hdd from another machine cant get it to output a page

Try checking the IU Life Stop setting in the service mode (stop>0>C) and ensure that it's at 'No Stop'.

Good shout mx6turbo
hadn't looked at it as all consumables showing at least half life but set it to non stop
and it worked
so turned it back to stop and wouldnt print
replaced drums chips 1 by 1
turned out to be the black drum chip
not sure how that could be an issue but as soon as i replaced it machine prints
