HDD replacement option for old 2.5" IDE machines

take 1 x cheap ass China made 2.5" IDE to mSata enclosure and 1 x 64GB mSata SSD, cheapest new on ebay, took a month to arrive from China.

    Assemble and install as normal.

Logical format and restored all data from backup A-OK.

    Works flawlessly on my C253.

I cant vouch for the stability of the Chinesey adapter it's only day 1 but time will tell.

Only issue was I had to nip out a small piece of plastic in the IDE opening in the enclosure for the cable to fit properly, no big deal.

Note that kingspec actually already make a dedicated 2.5" IDE 64Gb SSD drive, but it is considerably more expensive than this option.
