[Error Code] Bizhub 227: Requires regular inspection.

Dear all,

I am using Konica Minolta bizhub 227, is really a good model.
Printed 33k pages.

Regular services are made every 10k.

And last few days I get emails warning:

Occurred Time :03/10/2016 11:12:35
Installed Place :
IP Address : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Error : Requires regular inspection.


do you have any tips?

Sounds like you have service notifications enabled. If so, you will continue to receive these until the issue is corrected. Try going into the web browser to see if anything is being displayed here to find out what the issue is. This is a pretty vague message. Emujo

This is a message you get for some kind a warning.
Which particular warning is - that you shoud check on machine. Enter service mode go to Counter and then Warning. Check counter for each warning.
For me the most frequent one is D-1 split line detection (dirt on small glass or white roller with brush on ADF) on different bizhub models.
Also for PM count you can get this message, but will occure only once.

What on earth do you find to service at 10K?
I would expect one of these to go at least 50k between visits.

Bizhub 601 gives this message when 250K pm is due.

Check the PM counter in service mode.
It can be changed to any value or to "0" for no PM count.

It is not supposed to be set so low. Could be the selling dealer that did that on purpose.

I use it to limit the use of a dodgy part like a near finished web on a B601 that will run out soon or developer that would only go so far.
