Konica Minolta C353 - Replace The Waste Toner Box Error

Black toner Hopper was full. Vacuumed it 2-3 times. Replaced the toner with original one as the old toner was from Katun.

Copier worked for 3-4 days. Again getting same weird noise and error message for the waste toner box.

Advise Please

We have had to clean and replace some of those bottle sensors. But it goes by resistance inside the toner bottle. You said you cleaned it out. So it is a used bottle. Maybe a new one will last longer.

Replaced the waste toner box. Black hopper unit is full

The noise may be coming from the waste toner augers, if so you may just want to replace the MFP as this is a bitch to fix. Not sure why you keep mentioning the black hopper is full. If you're going to re use the bottle (not recommended) you have to really clean that little window (over flow) if this is dusted with toner it may not regard as being replaced. If your black hopper is "compacted" with toner you have another issue. Emujo

I bother just get some clicks on YT haha good luck with your machine. You can try and vacuume out the augers from the top whilst banging on them from the transfer belt side and replace worn/broken gears.. x2.

The C253 and C353 are due to hit end of life next June anyway, so it's best to get it out of there now. That's going to be quite a time-consuming repair.

No the noise and waste toner is the give away. it is the rear waste pipe get baked toner blocking the pipe which cause the auger gear to jump causing the waste box full message appear.

it is a real pig.

This model has a toner waste auger system that has a tendency to clog up. Normally not a big deal in other models, but it's buried within this machine and requires a lot of disassembly to access it. The symptoms of a clogged waste toner auger in this model is a grinding noise and a 'replace toner waste box' notification.
