email notification for consumables C284e range

Hi all.

Does anyone know of a way I can get a C284e to email a customers IT dept when the consumables are low?

I possible I would like it so that it doesnt display on the machines panel, but just sends a message to a specific person.


Is this do-able?

You need to switch off the toner near end display.
Switch the toner change from user to service.
Then setup status notification.

They are still going to end up with no toner and a replace toner message.

Best is to use Vcare for that.
