Bizhub C450 control panel display not coming on

Machine was running but it was jamming every 10 pages or so. I had finisher jam code 7401 and so
I disconnected finisher from machine so I could see if jamming would stop. I may have done this
while machine was on. I powered up machine from main power switch and there was indication of
power. However, when I pressed on off button on right side of control panel the display stayed black.
I reconnected finisher but display still does not come on.

Could this be from disconnecting finisher, possibly while machine on or would it be more likely a
control panel board problem that is just coincidental? I am very grateful for your advice. Frank

Congratulations, you now have a very heavy anchor. "I may have disconnected while still on" means you did. You have probably blown the power supply or fried the system board. There are no warehouses stoking parts for this device anymore, maybe E-Bay or Amazon. I would just give in an replace it. Emujo

I know better than to do that as from other machine but can't say for 100% certain. If I turned power off first,
then disconnected connector from machine and turned machine back on is there still a potential problem?
Is there another step for disconnection such as thru service mode? Frank
