KM Bizhub c 253 - near blank prints/copies

Good evening super heroes, last week i attended a call with an error requiring the k laser unit to be replaced, today i returned with the kit, after instlling the units, the prints either produced blank copies or clear black print on about 4 inches on one side, the machine in question is the bizhub c 253, a golden oldie, but to now a good machine, anybody see where i may have gone, even following the field manual to the screw , many thanks

Faulty K laser perhaps or incorrectly installed unit. It should interlock at thr back and fit the protrusion on RH side frame.

White flat cable may be improperly inserted or the bracket is not set on the laser.

What does state confirmation say about the skew ( Color registration)

Any sign of P-codes P21 etc.

Ah swap K laser with C perhaps and let us know if fault moved to Cyan.

many thanks, no codes, fitted second unit and still the fault continued, kined up the positioning pins etc, still no joy, many thanks for your help though
