[Error Code] Bizhub C308 error C6105

Hi All,

Got an intermittent fault reoccurring every couple of weeks of a DF-704. It keeps flashing up C6105. I have changed the opto sensor and tested everything ok then two weeks later its back again. Anyone had anything similar at all?

Hi, I came across this problem today on a c258, popping up with c-6105 constantly, stripped the relevent bits down, swapped the back cleaning sensor, switched off the adf in trouble reset, told the machine it had no adf fitted, nothing would get rid of the code, in the end i removed the dual scan board from the machine and it came to ready (without the doc feeder obviously), I have ordered the board up and hopefully we will get somewhere.

Was getting same code on a DF-701 after replacing many things I found in the service mode under ADF I believe there is something call home potion sensor adjust or something along those lines and it was set to 158 I cleared it and tried it on 0 and its been working fine so far but my issue was only on 2 Sided

There is special firmware for this series that supposedly fixes the C6105 codes with the DF-704

Try flashing the machine firmware to version GC1-E1 (don't forget to change Softswitch 25 to HEX 40 after flashing).

From the release info pdf with the firmware:

"The following issues are solved in this firmware.
33. The trouble code C-6105 may occur if scanning originals with the MFP that has DF-704 mounted."

The firmware is dated 10/5/2016 so it is possible that the newest Base firmware for this series also contains the fix, G00-K7 dated 3/9/2017 - softswitch 25/HEX 70 for that firmware.

Fw never fixed it for me when i had it, but mfp replacement did
