Di1811 duplex Problem

I have a Di1811 basically the same as a 183. When I duplex a copy it prints the first side fine, but the second side is really light. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.

I remember the first time I was having problems with something similar, and one of our techs told me to try replacing the paper. I almost laughed out loud when he said this, I go back there with a new ream of our paper and sure enough everything was fine.

Closer inspection on the paper was it was damp - they had a case of paper sitting on a concrete floor, these were the two reams sitting on the very bottom of the box.
