284e don't active key counter if vender

I have a Konica 284e, when active "key counter if vender" from "Management function choice" of the printer in ready copy as if it were already inserted the card into the reader.
This defect makes it even when the card reader is detached from the printer.
Already updated the printer, change the PRCB and made a clear date.

What can it be?

What vendor key counter are you trying to add? Some MFPs have a loopback connector that must be removed and the key counter device takes it's place. Emujo

I use microrex mx300. But whitout card reader connected i have this problem too.

Loadable device driver installed??

Must be set to the correct mode.
