Does anyone know what could be the reasons that sometimes the Obtain Device Information get error,
and then i need to set manually the Device Option?

I find it is usually one of two reasons. 1. Wrong driver. 2. Wrong function version in the soft switches.

can you please explain the "Wrong function version" what i have to check and where? and how can i fix it?

On the MFP, select Menu/Utility/Device Information. On either page 1 or 2 you will see the current function version. The MFP and driver versions be paired correctly..
The latest firmware release is K7 (function ver 3.3). The matching drivers are 7.1.X.X. If you are at the correct driver/function version/firmware, then you have an issue elsewhere like SNMP settings, firewall, or antivirus blocking communication. Emujo
