    C500 J3102 jams when duplex/stapling

I have a C500 that is giving J3102 jams only when running duplex, stapled jobs.
If I run single stapled=no problem.
If I run duplex, non stapled= no problem
If I run single non stapled= no problem
    If I run duplex, stapled+ intermittent J3102.

The paper stops at the same place every time. Approximately 3 inches out of the fixing unit. (both sides printed).

    Steps taken:

    New fixing unit torque limiter.
    Cleaned one way bearing clutches
Swapped out fixing unit with one from a working machine.
    Cleaned registration roller.

    Machine has 2.5 million prints.

Going to replace registration roller. Do not think that it will help, but can't hurt.

Any suggestions will help. Customer is running their end of quarter reports. Approximately 30k a day on each of their C500, for 6 weeks. Time is of the essence.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob

Check the decurling roller and one ways for the decurling roller. Also make sure there is no toner build up on the plastic piece (paper path) that the decurling roller attaches to and the black gate fingers. Good luck!

      J32-04 not J31-02

I posted the wrong code. Everything else is the same.

      Steps taken today.

      1. Registration roller replaced. No help
      2. Re-flashed firmware.-No help
      3. Swapped M30/M31. No help.
      4. Swapped reversing sensor with bypass sensor.-- Jury is still out.

      Called tech support=not very helpful

Symptom: J32-04 -- Fuser exit jam.
Cause: Rubber rollers on the Fixing Exit Roller had unglued and were slipping on the shaft. This is the roller that is just past the Fuser Rollers.
Solution: Replace the Fixing Exit Roller.

Have replaced whole fixing unit. After swapping the sensors noted in last post, have not heard back.

Thanks for the input, never know when it will come in handy.
