I've spoken to my K-M manual supplier about this particular model before. It seems this model is not made for the US market of which he only has access to.
If anybody has it, I'll trade 2 for 1 for it.

Is it "Call for service" or "Please call service"? It's a big difference, "Call for service" appears only when the scanner assy (lamp, mirrors, etc) is to blame.

When certain machine problems occur a “Please Call Service” message will appear in the LCD. When this message appears, access the printer maintenance mode / Service call function to determine the cause of the “Please Call Service” error message.
To access the printer maintenance modes:
              1. Press MENU, *, 0, 6.
The mode is contained within two main menu level.
              Set Replace Counter
              / /Enter
              Service Call
              / /Enter
              2. Press MENU to select “Service Call” mode and then press ENTER.
              2. Press or until “Service Call” appears in the LCD and then press ENTER.
              3. The kind of printer error will be displayed. If happens two or more troubles, the number of troubles is
displayed on the right upper of the LCD. For example, when “Heater error” and “Drum Fuse Error” has
              occurred, the LCD shows 2.
              Service Call :2
              Heater Error
              4. Press or to show the other printer error.
              5. Press STOP to exit this mode.

Anyway, if you're doing yourself service on this machine, you should buy the book.

Paul, I'm expecting a beer from you

                    003 error

I have had this problem loads of times. What it is , is that the gear on the upper fuser roller has broken. If you let the fuser cool down and you will be able to turn the upper roller with 1 finger.you will need a new gear or a new fuser.I have tried to glue the gear but the heat from the fuser just melts the glue.Hope this helps.
